For the past 12 years, Sniper Photo has been hired to shoot various corporate campaigns at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby. This year was no exception. I LOVE being a Kentucky Derby Photographer! We had a 10 hour day of photographing client activations and brand marketing pics. Since we were at the legendary Churchill Downs on Derby Day, I slipped over to the first turn to snap a bunch of photos of the actual Derby race. This was the only race I photographed. Glad I got to see Jockey John Velazquez ride Always Dreaming over the finish line! Looking at these photos, John must have kept Always Dreaming up front for the entire race! They were both super clean for having ran on such a sloppy track!
