Today, Sniper Photo, LLC snapped marketing and product photography photos for Fourth Street Live. Our photo shoot started with some facility photos of Gordon Biersch and T.G.I. Friday’s. After knocking those out, we moved over to The Fudgery for some product shots. While I’ve never eaten anything from The Fudgery, if it tastes half as yummy as it looks, that would explain the lines out the door on occasion.
Photo Nerd Notes:
I used the new Lumix S1R camera for all of the photos in this post. The facility photos were shot using the Sigma MC adapter and a Canon 17mm tilt shift lens. I also used a Canon 24mm tilt shift lens as well. Consequently, the combination of huge file sizes and awesome dynamic range coming out of the Lumix made for a very easy workflow. As a result, one photo can be edited via Capture One to have more than enough shadow and highlight detail. Gone are the days of metered multiple exposures. This makes shooting marketing and product photography quick and easy.
