The Art of Goodwill 2019 is an annual project created by Goodwill Industries of Kentucky. Each year, 10 regional artists are selected for a residency. Artists are given the opportunity to select items that have been donated to local Goodwill stores. From these selected items, each artist will create unique works of art to be auctioned off at the Speed Art Museum.

This year’s event kicked off with a VIP reception for artists and their guests. Next, everyone was called to the main room of The Speed for an artist introduction, followed by the auction. Once the auction concluded, guests mingled with artists over in the main gallery space. The Art of Goodwill 2019 was a fantastic event. Sniper Photo is very pleased to be a part of it. If you look closely in the event pics, you’ll see the artist’s head shots on display. We snapped these months ago to be used for this project.

We also provided a photo wall for this event. Goodwill provided the step and repeat backdrop, we provided the studio lighting and photographer. Guests stopped by the photo wall area throughout the evening for fun snap shots.
